Bridals with Katie W.

After photographing Katie’s E-session 6 months ago, we were stoked to finally get her back in front of the camera for her bridal portraits. Katie is a natural in front of the camera and super easy to work with. Katie could SO get paid big bucks to model, she is that gorgeous! Katie was up for anything including climbing on top of a bar, laying on tile floors and any other crazy idea we came up with. From stately and formal to fun and sassy, Katie was willing to be our model for the day.

She wanted to do her bridals at Safari Texas Ballroom, which is where her reception was being held. The venue is huge and has alot of different areas that allow us to get a bunch of different looks. The first photo is one of our favs from the session.

Amazing eyes!

Destination Wedding in Destin, Florida

We had the honor of spending an entire week before the wedding in Florida on the beach with the families of Erin and Ian. As stated in Erin’s bridal post, Jo, Erin’s Mom, is Becca’s best friend and this was extra special for us, and we had a wonderful time hanging with friends on the beautiful beach in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

The day of the wedding, Erin and her bridal party went to Bella’s Salon for hair and make up. This was a great salon, and they catered to every need of the girls. Erin and Ian were married on the Solaris, which is a yacht which sails out of Destin, Florida. This was the most AMAZING setting for a wedding!! The wedding took place on the top deck, which gave us the most magnificent sunset we have ever seen. After the wedding, everyone moved inside for a seated dinner. There are no words to describe how wonderful the food was…..YUMMY!! The staff aboard the Solaris were amazing and so helpful.  Music was provided by a  live band and kept the party hopping. Gulf Coast Bride Magazine featured this wedding in their magazine, and we will blog all about this at a later date.  Erin and Ian are very special to us, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness! Thank you for allowing us to share this special time with you and your families. We love you!!

Erin’s hair was so pretty and as you can see…she liked it too!

Beautiful cake by Southern Style Desserts….it was SO YUMMY!!

James and Kari’s Wedding at the Chapel in the Woods

The first words that came out of our mouth when we saw the Chapel In the Woods was, WOW!!  This is a chapel in The Woodlands, Texas and was the most spectacular church and we couldn’t wait to get started. Kari was the calmest bride we had seen in a long time, and so sweet and BEAUTIFUL!! James and his crew were loads of fun and kept us laughing the entire time. Kari and James are the perfect couple and the love they share is so transparent. After the wedding we headed to several locations on the grounds of the church for group shots, and this wedding party was up for anything, including climbing on rocks and jumping off. The reception was held at Augusta Pines Golf Club, and was the perfect setting for dinner and dancing.  We are honored that Kari and James chose us to be part of their special day and wish them a lifetime of love, happiness and joy for many years to come. May God bless you always!

Breathtaking Chapel!

Wedding at the Granduca

Stephen and Melinda chose the Granduca for their wedding and reception. Can we say GORGEOUS?!?!?! This was the most amazing hotel and PERFECT for a small intimate ceremony and reception. Stephen and Melinda are very classy people and this 5 star hotel fit them perfectly. We had a blast spending time with them and they were so much fun!!! They were every photographers dream…up for anything and always with a smile. Thank you Stephen and Melinda for choosing us to be a part of your special day! We wish you a lifetime of love, laughter and joy!
Gorgeous dress!

Rainy Day at Vargo’s

We had some bad luck when we were planning to photograph a beautiful outdoor wedding at Vargo’s when the rains came and forced Rena & Mike to move their wedding indoors.  The grounds were in perfect condition and the flowers were as pretty as we have seen there. At least they have large picture windows giving us a nice backdrop.  Rena and Mike started their day at the Hilton Westchase. They remained calm and collected and never let the weather dampen their spirits. Becca & I want to say thanks for allowing us to be with you on your wedding day.

Vargo’s at its best!

Rena had a very cool dress and something we had not seen before.  The dress by itself was simple and elegant but it came with a train that was part of a jacket that Rena wore.
The jacket/train really made this dress stand out.
Hair and Makeup!
Just a little nervous!

Close to Our Hearts

Erin is the daughter of my best friend, Jo, and I has watched Erin grow into the gorgeous woman that she has. We did Erin’s bridal pictures at Mercer Arboretum in Houston, Texas.  I will be honest, when I first saw how incredible gorgeous Erin was, I was thinking, “How am I EVER going to get through this session without crying?”   I made it, and that was a miracle! Erin has that fun spirited, loving personality that defiantly shows and makes our job SO much fun! We had a BLAST!!! Jo, her Mom, came with us and we even managed to get her is a few shots that she was not aware of….sorry buddy…….I HAVE to show everyone what a trooper you were 🙂 We are a little behind posting these, so in a few days we  will be posting  photos from Erin and Ian’s AMAZING destination  wedding in Destin, Florida aboard the Solaris with SunQuest Cruises.

One of our favorite!
This is the picture that Erin chose for her display at the reception…..GORGEOUS!
