We accept cash, checks, & major credit cards. Booking Fees are due at the time of booking, with the full session amount due the day of your session, at the end of your session.  Please let us know how you will be paying when you arrive.

Yes! If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for in the Pricing information, we are happy to build a discounted multiple session package that suits your family.

Our preference is to get your baby in front of our camera when they are 5-10 days old. This helps us catch the baby while they are still sleepy and calm which helps get those sweet looks you see in newborn photography. We can stretch that time frame a little but 5-10 days old is ideal.

You should research and book your photographer 3-4 months before you due date. (the sooner the better) This guarantees that we will be available at some point 5-10 days after your birth. Waiting till the last minute is not advised as there is a good chance we will not have any availability. If you find yourself in that situation reach out to us and if we can we will work you in.

Our studio is owned and operated by myself, Scott and my wife Becca. When you book with us we will be the photographers you will work with during your photoshoot. Typically, Becca works with the babies and gets them all ready to go and I run the camera and lights. This allows for us to be very hands on with your child and helps to keep the session a safe and comfortable place to photograph your child.

We have many props and color coordinated wraps and blankets that we use in your photos and we are adding new props all the time. If you have something specific in mind be sure to visit with us about that and if we can do it then we will.

• Full newborn sessions take about 2 – 3 hours, this includes some flex time if we need extra feeding or need to wait for the baby to fall asleep. I feel when we are approaching 3 hours that the baby and the parents are getting to the point of being exhausted  and its time to bring the session to a conclusion. Newborn sessions should never need to last 4-5 hours!

We do travel for newborn sessions for an additional fee.($100-200 based on distance to your home) Since we have a significant quantity of props, lighting equipment and backgrounds, it is not feasible to bring everything, so we’ll ask you to pick your favorite props for travel.

We do not allow cell phone photos or any other digital images to be taken of our work.

We completely understand that so shortly after giving birth, you might not feel ready to have your picture taken. We encourage you to give this alot of consideration. The images in which you and your husband are interacting with your newborn might very well result in the most precious images of all. Afterwards, you might regret it not having taken any images together with your child. Despite the fact that you may feel a bit uncomfortable, we’ll pose you in the most flattering manner and you will look amazing.  So our suggestion is to come with your makeup done and bring a set of clothes to have photos made in.

Of course, absolutely! We actually encourage this. We want you to see this photoshoot as a potential family shoot as well. Capturing the interaction of your first born with your newborn can be quite emotional and unique, so this is a very important part of our style. Due to the length of the sessions, it is best if siblings arrive separately about 2 hours after your appointment start time.

We require a signed contract and a non refundable retainer of $125 to be paid at the time of booking. When you arrive for your session this will be applied to your balance for the session. If you cancel your photo session the retainer will not be refunded.

Yes! Generally, we provide basic color corrections and minimal retouching for your proofs. We retouch all photos that are chosen to be printed and included in your babies album. Should you require extensive retouching on a photo we will review it with you and provide  you a quote to complete the work.

Yes, all of your proofs are viewable online by anyone, anywhere in the world through your password protected site we provide. This site allows your friends and family to order any of the photos online.

Your password protected gallery will be available in about 10 days to four weeks after your session. During peak season (e.g. Christmas), the turnaround time may vary by a week or so.

We made the decision to go 100% digital about 15 years ago and haven’t looked back. Currently we use professional grade Canon cameras and lenses and feel the quality of digital photography has caught up and surpassed, traditional analog film photography.
