Houston Wedding Photographers Father Daughter Dance

Surprisingly, the father daughter dance can be one of those moments during a brides wedding that can really surprise people. The emotions can be overwhelming and range from a time of laughter and fun to real tears being shed. Aside from the bride and grooms first dance this is a dance that we love to photograph as it typically has the most emotional moments. The origin of the dance signified that the father found the groom suitable and he passed his daughter to her awaiting groom. However, at modern weddings the dance is is more symbolic and is typically after the groom has already married his bride. Regardless, this is one of those moments that more often than not becomes a photographers dream as the emotional connection between father and daughter is displayed for all to see.
